Are there any costs to joining Eons BOOM Media as a publisher?

No. Participating in our network of carefully-selected, quality publishers who cater to the Boomer audience is free! You just have to meet our membership requirements.

What are your minimum eligibility requirements for publishers who seek to partner with Eons BOOM Media?

To apply for inclusion as a publisher, your site should primarily serve adults ages 45-65 (approximately 50% or more of your reach should comprise this audience). While we generally seek sites with greater than 50,000 monthly unique visitors, there are certainly exceptions so please feel free to submit an inquiry for consideration. You’ll need to include display ads on your site. For more information about the ad unit sizes we require, check out our ad specifications page.

Why should I join the Eons BOOM Media network?

Eons works with top tier, national advertisers targeting Boomers to bring quality, relevant ads to your site, from standard ad units to highly-customized campaigns. How will you drive traffic to my site?

Our network offers a special program in which creative for each publisher is rotated across the network, thereby enabling all participants to gain visibility on other boomer-centric sites. Further, our network is transparent so we promote each and every site in our materials and discussions with advertisers. Your inclusion in Eons BOOM Media materials and website will provide greater awareness of your brand and offerings.

Further, publishers seeking to generate more traffic and community engagement can leverage the eons.com community platform to create Sponsored Groups and Branded Games. These interactive tools, housed on eons.com, enable you to extend your real estate and generate incremental revenue, while gaining the attention of Eons' 750,000+ registered Boomers.

What other sites are in the network?

Our network is comprised of quality sites across a variety of lifestyle categories (e.g., travel, health, hobbies, greetings, retirement, etc) that cater to a Baby Boomer audience. To see Eons growing list of publisher partners, please visit our publisher directory.

Will I have access to reports?

Eons will provide you with a login to our ad server so you can access updates and reports 24/7. You’ll be able to easily view campaign delivery, fill rate, revenue reports and more at your convenience, plus we’ll send you monthly reports.

Do you use flash?

As flash is now an industry standard, Eons BOOM Media offers advertisers the opportunity to reach publisher audiences through flash and rich media advertisements. However, Eons BOOM Media employs stringent specifications which require that any intrusive ad content must be initiated on click. We also make sure that file sizes for individual advertisements are under 30K.

What advertising formats do you use?

We serve flash, .jpg/.gif, and html redirects in the following standard IAB sizes: 160x600, 728x90 and 300x250.

What does it mean to be an "exclusive ad partner"?

As a monetization partner to publishers, Eons seeks to represent 100% of IAB standard display advertising inventory in the following ad sizes: 728x90, 160x600 and 300x250. Eons then shares revenue generated on all units. We do not consider non-standard ad units such as small buttons, text-based ads or affiliate links to be part of this exclusivity. At a minimum, Eons prefers two standard IAB ad units per page to be considered for an exclusive partnership.

What if I currently have sponsors or partnerships committed to my IAB ad units?

If you already have a third party commitment to your standard IAB units, it is possible for us to discuss non-exclusive agreements.

Will I be able to remove/block ads that I deem inappropriate?

Eons will remove any advertisements which are deemed inappropriate within 1 business day.

Does Eons BOOM Media collect personally identifiable information about the users who view advertisements on my website(s) through their ad serving process?

No personally identifiable information is used for ad serving. Any information used for targeting is based on aggregate data; never on user specific data.

Can I select which advertisers run campaigns on my site?

Publishers in our network can request within reason to remove advertising on their site.
